Office Refurbishment
Concept Building Services completed the comprehensive strip-out and refurbishment of the Marine Management Organisation (MMO) office on Poole Quay. With extensive experience in office refurbishments, we managed the project with close coordination alongside RLB and site staff, ensuring a timely completion and smooth handover to the client.
Prior to the start of on-site work, we arranged a pre-start meeting with all stakeholders to ensure an organised project launch. This included a full site measure, finalising the Construction Phase Plan, and preparing task-specific RAMS. Safety and compliance were prioritised with an asbestos R&D survey, signage, and fire protection measures in place. Our site management plan was presented to the Contract Administrator (CA) to outline operational safety and the sequence of works.
On-site, the project commenced with the setup and isolation of services, followed by a full strip-out of the existing office interiors. Key installations were then carried out, including fire doors, modern MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) systems, and refreshed flooring, all designed to enhance both the functionality and aesthetic of the workspace. The decoration works and the installation of a new kitchen added to the office’s modernisation, providing an updated, comfortable environment for staff.
The project was rounded off with thorough testing and commissioning, ensuring that all new installations met the required specifications. The completed office was handed over, ready for use, showcasing Concept Building Services’ commitment to quality and meticulous execution in office refurbishment projects.
